What is Sale-a-Bration?
Every year, Stampin’ Up! has their biggest sale, called Sale-a-Bration from January through March. That’s THREE months! But what exactly is on sale? Well, instead of discounting a few items, they publish a separate Sale-a-Bration brochure full of items that are completely free with purchase of anything from the Annual or Occasions catalogs, or any other special promotional items they may offer during this three month period. Spend $50 to choose a level 1 item, and spend $100 to choose an item marked level 2.
Sale-a-Bration this year begins January 3rd, and ends March 31st. The items offered are awesome as usual. As if this wasn’t enough, a second release happens in February, with even more great free items. And then, Stampin’ Up! has been adding even more items on a third release the last couple of years. So many choices!
Sale-a-Bration first release
The first release includes some awesome stamp sets. I think my favorite is the Home to Roost set. I love that rooster! But then there are the frogs in the So Hoppy Together set. And the cupcakes in the Hello Cupcake set. So maybe I have a lot of favorites! This release has been so popular, that some of the items sold out very quickly. Items that are no longer available are the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack, the Butterfly Elements, the Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets, and the Precious Parcel Card Kit.
But that’s okay! There are plenty of great options still available from this brochure. All of the stamp sets are available. (Home to Roost, Hello Cupcake, So Hoppy Together, By the Bay, Part of My Story, Lovely Lattice, and Lasting Lily, which is a level 2 item.) The Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper is gorgeous, and is also available. And it coordinates with the butterfly stamps and punch in the Occasions catalog.
Second Release
The second Sale-a-Bration release included more awesome items. There are two level one and one level two items. The level one items are the All Adorned stamp set and the Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (say that three times fast). And the level two item is the Painted Seasons Bundle that includes a beautiful Distinktive stamp set (looks like an actual photograph when stamped) and some gorgeous Designer Series Paper that coordinates. All three of these items in the second release are must-haves, in my opinion of course.
Third Release
The third and final release of Sale-A-Bration added some existing items from the annual catalog to the selection of freebies, as well as the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper on its own.
Notice that the Pearlized Doilies is actually two packs and the Velvet Ribbon is also two spools. Pretty great deal for free!
Even more free stuff!
